About the Series

What to do when you find an animal in trouble

Wildlife Rescue 101 is a free short film series covering the situations people actually encounter — a bird on the ground, a possum in the roof, a reptile in the yard, an animal tangled in fishing line.

Each episode features the carers and vets who do this work every day: WIRES, Wildcare Australia, Bats Qld, Reptile Rehabilitation Queensland and the veterinary team at Currumbin Wildlife Hospital.

Watch them in any order. They are short, practical, and free to share with your school, group or community.

Knowing what to do in the first ten minutes changes the outcome.
